Are they trying to make me insane???

Not that anyone would necessarily notice.

Okay, here's the deal. I only watch about six shows on a regular basis. And I'm only passionate about three of them: Veronica Mars, Lost, and Bones. Now, it was bad enough when UPN moved Veronica Mars to Wednesday at 9pm, and ABC decided to move Lost to the same time slot. But I'm a big girl, right? I can learn to overcome adversity. So I bought a VCR and began taping one and watching the other. So far it's worked out relatively smoothly.

But what do I hear now? That FOX, in its infinite wisdom, is moving Bones to...you guessed it, 9pm on Wednesday.

It's a plot, I tell you. A plot. Designed to make me crazy.

Well FOX is the one who is going to lose. I like Bones a lot, but Veronica Mars and Lost will always come first. :::sticks out tongue at FOX, who is also messing with Arrested Development, one of my *other* favorite shows:::

Okay, I'm done being overly dramatic and childish. For now.

Yeah, it sucks. The weird thing is, I barely watch any TV. So what are the chances that literally half of the shows I watch are in the same time slot?

One time, back when I was an extra, three shows I worked on were shown on the same night at the same time. But I think your three favorite shows winding up shuffled to the same time slot is even weirder.

There is some sort of rule that every show worth watching will be on at one time. Or at a time when you can't possibly be home to watch.

Yeah, that used to happen too. I used to have this job where I worked one night a week, and whatever I wanted to watch was always on that night. I had that problem during the last two seasons of Angel. I had to either tape it or download it, and it used to drive me nuts.

I hate Fox! But you know that.

Right there with ya. And I can't believe they're cancelling Arrested Development...they're just doing everything they can to piss me off, I guess.

It's like they don't want their shows to be successful. They don't give enough time. I mean wasn't Arrested Development critically acclaimed?

It's why I didn't start watching Prison Break because I have a feeling that will probably go another year before it gets the ax. :sighs:

Yeah, Arrested Development won Emmys and got all sorts of critical acclaim. Unfortunately, nobody's watching it.

I still have to laugh at them about Family Guy. That show rocked, and they cancelled it. Now they've had to bring it back because the DVD sales were so good, and the Cartoon Network was getting such good ratings for them in reruns. Have they learned *nothing* from that?

They've actually been talking about mabve having Bones on at 8pm instead. I hope so, because I like both to be recorded so I can watch them at my leisure.

Hey come live in my small town in IL and you have no problem...we don't get UPN!!!! So no Veronica Mars, I have to be envious of those of you who rave about it and pray it stays on long enough for syndication.
Oh yeah and I have dial-up because they only have one 5 block radius of town that has DSL...and they put that in two years ago, luckily my sister has it. You can drive from one end of town to the other in five minutes and they can't get DSL installed. I want to move back to a city!!!

Yikes! I guess I'm lucky to live where I do. Then again, I love Seattle, so I kind of felt that way already, but this gives me an extra reason to love it. And I feel for you with the dial-up. I originally got DSL for work reasons, but even after I stopped working from home, I kept it. You'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands before I gave it up now!
